113. Attitude Clothing Co

Over the last few years I've made the odd order from attitudeclothing.co.uk particularly when I was about 18, when camo print skinnies, Iron Fist tees, tartan skirts with over the knee stripy socks and multiple facial piercings were my uniform. I've mellowed in my old age, and whilst my Iron Fist zombie heels are still my faves, them and anything overtly in your face "emo, gothic, punk and rockabilly" have been retired from my wardrobe.

However, since I still order plugs, tunnels and boyfriends birthday t-shirts from Attitude, I receive a nice little brochure in the post every now and then. A few days ago, I did indeed find one of these brochures popped through my letterbox...and my once teenage heart beat faster, faster Panic! style again. Pretty dresses, cosy looking knitwear and foot-envy inducing shoes. I eagerly logged on, and whilst happily the full on bondage-and-zombie-skulls apparel was still going strong, there was plenty to choose from for my now diluted yet nostalgic tastes.

110. Burgundy is the new Black (PLUS DUCKS)

Last week I hopped on the train for a little while to visit my fantastic pal Matthew in Brighton. According to ASOS  "burgundy is the new black" so I'm feeling oh so on trend with this H&M knit number. Of course I had to trash it up a tad with some inverted cross shorts. Aren't I a devil? (I'm not even sorry.)

Anyway we had a lovely time eating lots of food at Black Lion. We somehow always end up there and it's always delish. After consuming far too much, we burnt away those calories by prancing about in Queen's Park on the children's zip line and posing on trees. Perfect day no?

This is how I like to dress to slob around the house whilst pretending I have the ability to do anything with a musical instrument other than stare at it in a confused fearful way. And yes, that is my face with my glasses on, isn't it divine? I wish I wasn't so grossed out by the idea of contact lenses/paying for contact lenses.

Roped my boyfriend into taking some outside shots of me before it turned to dark, as you can see, some came out better than others! I have asked for a tripod for Christmas! Day off today, so I was a very good girl and did washing, tidying (who knew my bedroom actually had a real life floor underneath all those clothes) and hoovering. Then I decided that enough was enough, and painted my nails, watched Made In Chelsea, and ate some cheese. Considering starting up a profile on lookbook, but I'm not obviously not in the same league as the beautys that grace it, they seem to have that extra somethin' somethin' I strive for! I did start up an asos fashion finder profile though as it was slightly less intimidating, and also because I'm an asos whore. Currently waiting on a cup of tea (my third in the last 2 hours) and one of the oh-so-horrifically-bad-for-you pizza's strewn over the news a few days ago(article here!) to have whilst watching Due Date. LIFE IS AWESOME!

Knitwear over knitwear and its not even November/December yet. Anyone else's hands constantly feel like ice blocks?! Perhaps I should give up wearing the shorts?! Hmm, I'm not sure if I can bring myself to do that yet. It's only a matter of time before I start wearing tights under jeans, with long socks and boots on top, I must hang on to these reminders of warmer times for as long as possible!

Oh my gosh, I am so excited that Gossip Girl is back. I missed it last night so am about to settle down with a cuppa and catch up online. You can expect Sunday Style Crushes featuring the whole cast from me for a while, as well as occassional pantings about how divine Ed Westwick is.

Crooked Melancholy Posture-My Own

So this jumper was my first knitwear purchase of the season. Oh my goodness it feels so good to buy knitwear even if it is super thin. There was only a size up from my usual size left, but oversized always works for jumpers doesn't it? I tried on a couple others, including this chunky navy knit which I loved but felt was a bit short. I may well go back for it at some point but since the grey was just £24 and I had another gift voucher for £25 it was a case of ding! ding! ding! we have a winner in the changing room. I also snapped up a couple of Topman necklaces for just a pound each(A POUND!) inspired by llymlrs and her Topman jewellery. I put the jumper on as soon as I got home, and shall be wearing it to work tomorrow (though perhaps with a top underneath, bra glimpses may set the customers off). I also made my first charity shop clothing purchase in a while, which I will share in a later post I am sure.

I also just found out that channel 5 have an online catch up service and have been recommended The Bachelor to enjoy so I'm off for my fix off trash TV, accompanied by vino and cheesy beany jacket potato. Classy.
