101. Skaggy Sunday

Drop Hem Tee-asos, birdie print shorts (can you spot them?)-asos, creepers-ebay.

Technically this is not an outfit of the day, though I did actually wear this tee today...until I got bacon/baked bean grease all down it. Classy gal. But I just found this photo on my computer-previously discarded as being too "skaggy" looking. But today I thought "Awww, what the crap, I feel the urge to post, this here will do."

Maybe I've got sunstroke?

Happy Sunday everyone!

78. Into The Wild

Dress-Topshop but from ebay, Hat-ebay, Leather Jacket-Vintage Renewal from Topshop, Necklace-redicovered this morning, but from Accessorize.

I've been wanting to combine the lace, leather and socks like this for ages, and it's just kept on raining each day. But today I got my chance when myself and Thomas sneaked out for a weekend woodland walk todays sans showers. IN YOUR FACE WEATHER SYSTEM. It was actually almost aaaaalmost sunny, and there was a whole ton of zingy coloured flora around to make it feel even nicer and brighter than ever (even thought the bluebells were droopy).

Despite a customer at my work questioning if my legs were good/slim enough to get away with skinny jeans, today has brought bacon sandwiches and chocolate spread on toast, and right now I'm being pestered to start on roast potato preparations. Sunday is so my favourite day right now.

I always re-read my blogposts and wonder why, despite posting up outfit photos, I probably spend more time discussing food and other non-fashion related business than the clothes on my back. Do any of my 12 readers mind?!

64. A Little Birdie Told Me....

Bird Shorts-ASOS Petite (huh?I know-SALE!), Tee-H&M (old), Jacket-New Look (ooold), Loafers-Topshop, Bag-Mulberry

....THE SUN IS OUT!!

Happy Sunny Sunday everyone! I got these shorts from asos in the week, and despite being from the petite section, they fit me fine-for a mere 8 pounds it was worth the risk! I was tres happy when I saw the sun peeping out today, so I gave them their first airing with a plain tee-though it was still a bit nippy, so reached for one of many trusty blazers in my wardrobe. You can also see a glimpse of the beloved Tillie tote which I have used everyday since I got it-cost per wear is working out nicely!

Anyway, so off I tottered down to the charity shop this morning to check out the Edelman's again. The shop was closed, so I will be queueing outside tomorrow at 9am, even if it means I'm a little late opening up my own work (just next door), in the terror that someone else will snap em up.

Then we headed to the pub for breakfast-only we were too late for breakfast-so I ended up having a roast dinner instead, yummers.

After stuffing myself with roast AND mashed potato, we walked/waddled to HMV to hopefully snap up a trashy horror. I was hoping for "Strip Nude For Your Killer", which I can only assume is a tenderly made, thoughtful piece, but the boy thought it might be "a bit much" and so we FAILED in our mission.
Buffy Season 3 it is....

58. These Grey Days-first beach visit of 2012

Today Thomas and I had the perfect Sunday, which may or may not have included cheese for breakfast. We took ourselves and a thermos flask of hot chocolate to Witterings and had an appetite building walk along the beach. I was wearing more layers than in those photos (a lot more layers) I was merely being vain and wanting to show off my new Topshop tunic. I saw this in their Spring Summer campaign ads and immediately hunted it out. I'm hoping its going to come out in a whole range of colours so that I can get every single one.
I have included that oh so attractive mugshot close up too, as despite the er...excitable look on my face, I am rather impressed with the new Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation I used for the first time today, and I think could be my favourite new product of the year so far. My skin is usually a bit sallow, and a bit uneven, but I think this foundation is actually doing what it says on the tin!
After this beach visit, we went into town and dined/made ourselves fat on a massive Sunday carvery dinner-I had beef AND turkey, and Tom had second helpings of just about everything. Now about to finish off the day with a pile of chocolate bars and the third season of Buffy on DVD.

Perhaps I should turn this blog into a food blog. Eating occupies my brain about 70% of the time.
