100. Spare Time

Shirt-asos, Skirt-ebay, Shoes-Topshop.

ONE HUNDRED POSTS! My goodness. This needs celebrating by wearing a shirt with a wicked cool print of bowling on the back of it. I hate bowling but I like how it looks on a shirt. Plus it was a bargain in the asos sale-if you click on the asos link above, it takes you to it. Same applies to the ebay skirt which believe it or not I tried to iron. I failed miserably. I want it in all the other colours too, and for £9.90 with free P+P, it would be a shame not to.

How do you like my Topknot also? I usually only wear my hair up about once every 2 years, but recently my laziness at needing to wash my hair if I want it to look vaguely presentable worn down has overcome my usual disgust at how my face/side profile looks with no hair to hide it. Go self-confidence, go! My face is also helped by a recent splurge at the Benefit cosmetics counter. I now own Erase-Paste, Porefessional, and Hello Flawless foundation. I feel like a real grown-up.

Another odd occurence in my life, is that last week I defied all expectations and went to a Zumba class. AND I LIKED IT. WHAT THE EFF? Generally the idea of exercise, particularly in a group, to cheesy music, makes me want to either vomit or be violent. But I shook my butt like a pro. Thank God there were no mirrors.

88. ...and hope to die.

Dorrie Cross Shorts-Missguided, Tee-Iron Fist (old but wonderful), Creepers-ebay
How frickin' awesome are these shorts from www.missguided.co.uk ? They're wondefully high waisted and just ridiculously comfortable. I'm thinking I should maybe have sized down as they're fairly stretchy, but I'm too impatient for swaps etc and wore them anyway because I heart them so. The only thing that pained me was trying to come up with a pun involving the word "cross" for a lookbook/blogpost and just failing miserably. Suggestions are oh so very welcome.

The creepers were just £23.99 from this seller on ebay and they're actually very nice. I wore them brand new for 9 hours straight at work, with no blisters or sore bits, rendering the spare pair I took in with me USELESS.

It's a quiet Friday night in for me tonight, after the trauma of helping my boss upload photos to a dating site. AGAIN. Honestly, he just comes in, brandishes his camera memory card at me and grins, before making jokes about me finding pornographic images on there. So I think its tea and Gossip Girl to help me through this difficult time.

Am I going to get lots of hits on this post now, after including the word "pornographic"? PORN PORN PORN.

69. May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favour

So I went on a little jaunt today in the sun, with absolutely no idea in my head where I was going. Just started walking. And after my legs inexplicably took me to Topshop (but with my purse at home I was safe) they then took me across grassy areas, into this woodland. It felt very Hunger Games let me tell you, and I was 2 seconds away from hunting down some squirrel for meat. It was really pretty, and I'm so glad I decided to go out, even though I was on my own, otherwise I would've just been sat indoors with the tv on, whilst mindlessly browsing stuff online. As it is my vitamin D intake is set to RDA OVERLOAD, and tell me...do you think my legs look tanned? LIE TO ME AND SAY YES.

Special mention to the boots, which I got my Schuh's ebay store  for £21 rather than £60, as they are an ex display pair. As for the top and shorts, neither are new, but you can find similar shorts here and here, and a similar top here and here. Shorts are the way forward for me now, I just need to find a sunbleached desert to explore, and I feel I'll be in their perfect setting.

Enjoy the sunshine!

55. It's A New Dawn, It's A New Day..

....AND I'M FEEEEELING GOOOOD!

Was going through some stuff today to sell on ebay, and found this dress that I've never worn, that I got from asos.com yonks and yonks ago. Not sure whether to part with it or not! As I say, I've never worn it, it's like a gold glitter knit fabric, and I've lost weight since I got it, hence why it now hangs a bit...but there's just something about it that I can't let go of! What do you think? Bite the bullet and wave bye bye? Or store away for a rainy day (/blog photos)?
