100. Spare Time

Shirt-asos, Skirt-ebay, Shoes-Topshop.

ONE HUNDRED POSTS! My goodness. This needs celebrating by wearing a shirt with a wicked cool print of bowling on the back of it. I hate bowling but I like how it looks on a shirt. Plus it was a bargain in the asos sale-if you click on the asos link above, it takes you to it. Same applies to the ebay skirt which believe it or not I tried to iron. I failed miserably. I want it in all the other colours too, and for £9.90 with free P+P, it would be a shame not to.

How do you like my Topknot also? I usually only wear my hair up about once every 2 years, but recently my laziness at needing to wash my hair if I want it to look vaguely presentable worn down has overcome my usual disgust at how my face/side profile looks with no hair to hide it. Go self-confidence, go! My face is also helped by a recent splurge at the Benefit cosmetics counter. I now own Erase-Paste, Porefessional, and Hello Flawless foundation. I feel like a real grown-up.

Another odd occurence in my life, is that last week I defied all expectations and went to a Zumba class. AND I LIKED IT. WHAT THE EFF? Generally the idea of exercise, particularly in a group, to cheesy music, makes me want to either vomit or be violent. But I shook my butt like a pro. Thank God there were no mirrors.

89. On The Fringe

J'adore my new Rare body. The fact that the fringing is two-tone just makes it heavenly in my eyes. Even if all those heavenly fringey bits keep getting looped around everything-the rest of my clothes, door handles, staircase bannisters, my own face....EVERYTHING. I got it from asos the other day for twenty British pounds. Find it here! The best part is that it has a hook and eye fastening in the downstairs area, so you don't have to strip off entirely to use the loo and have the terrifying moments of imagining someone walking in on you practically starkers, doing your business.

The shorts are my latest Levi's DIY cut offs, and the colour means they'll be my go-to in the summer when I imagine myself to be somewhere suitable for cut offs like California rather than boggy Southern England.

84. Bluety and the Beast

Faux Fur-Warehouse, Hat-H&M, Blouse-Vintage, Shorts-ebay, Shoes-Rocket Dog

This was my outfit of choice last night, not to go to some throwback underground seventies disco (I WISH, I may have fitted in, but this area is sadly lacking) but just out for drinks with the boy. We had Sailor Jerry Coke Floats and I also supped a Mint Choc Martini, which basically tasted like liquid after eight. I must stop indulging in drinks which are just alcoholic desserts in disguise.

83. God Bless Catastrophe

Thomas bought this tee from the merch stand at the Trio gig. I immediately commanded "WE CAN SHARE IT" and voila. Presumably he won't pair it with a floral maxi but I bloody well have. Though I assume that the visual loudness will horribly assault most peoples peepers, it pleases mine greatly. I think this summer will bring more of this sort of look from me-a terribly literal version of boy/girl dressing.

78. Into The Wild

Dress-Topshop but from ebay, Hat-ebay, Leather Jacket-Vintage Renewal from Topshop, Necklace-redicovered this morning, but from Accessorize.

I've been wanting to combine the lace, leather and socks like this for ages, and it's just kept on raining each day. But today I got my chance when myself and Thomas sneaked out for a weekend woodland walk todays sans showers. IN YOUR FACE WEATHER SYSTEM. It was actually almost aaaaalmost sunny, and there was a whole ton of zingy coloured flora around to make it feel even nicer and brighter than ever (even thought the bluebells were droopy).

Despite a customer at my work questioning if my legs were good/slim enough to get away with skinny jeans, today has brought bacon sandwiches and chocolate spread on toast, and right now I'm being pestered to start on roast potato preparations. Sunday is so my favourite day right now.

I always re-read my blogposts and wonder why, despite posting up outfit photos, I probably spend more time discussing food and other non-fashion related business than the clothes on my back. Do any of my 12 readers mind?!

75. White Rabbit

Vest-The Orphans's Arms, Leggings-ebay, Hat-ebay, Shoes-Converse, Rings-Topshop/ Gifts.

Yesterday I broke a cardinal rule-leggings as trousers. I think it's ok though, if they're thick patterned leggings or velvet style ones like these, and if the top is long enough to cover your buttocks. I got these leggings from this ebay seller and whilst my legs are not quite as wonderfully slim as those of the model, I can't help but want EVERY. SINGLE. COLOUR. I also want more vests..well no, more everything ever, from The Orphan's Arms. My current tally is just 2 vests, but I love the length and awesome prints on both of them, and basically require more to help me survive this crazy life.

74. Nightrain

Everything you see me wearing is off good old ebay. Including the hair dye.

So after drooling over this tumblr site and all its pretty hair pictures I decided I needed some dip dye action back in my life. I shall probably do some from of step-by-step post in the next few days. Onto the outfit! Both the top and the skirt were purchased on a recent major ebay splurge. The skirt can be found here, and the tee can be found here. Bargainous eh?! A pink flowy skirt isn't necessarily "me" but as Jen recently posted, its good to take a sartorial step outside your comfort zone. I think it's made more my own though with the boots that do not leave my feet, and a good old fashioned band tee.

72. Woah Young Filly

Is it warm? Is it cold? I have no idea. Which is why I wear a wooly hats and hoodies with shorts and crop tops these days. Did anyone else get the animal print crops from H&M last year? They did a bunny one too. I remember buying the horse one, and liking it very much, til I saw an 8 year old wearing the same one the next day. However I no longer care, so back out it comes.

After previously complaining about my lack of an iphone/instagram, I was swiftly directed to www.molo.me by my beautiful bezza, which is a very similar thing for all the wonderful blackberry users out there. Needless to say, I AM HOOKED. If anyone else has it, my username is hannahvictoriaa, so find me here!

Currently doing the good girlfriend bit, and have had a turkey casserole simmering away for the last couple of hours, and then we should be going to see Wrath of the Titans at the cinema tonight. I've been promised hot man flesh to look at during the film...so if there's not, there will be wrath from me also. (GEDDIT?!)

60. Dandy Candy

This is how I'm currently styling my DIY shorts, which I have also now added studs to in the shape of (slightly wonky) crosses. I bought the studs on ebay-advice; if you do this, make sure you buy enough! I got a pack of 20 thinking that would be more than enough, but I used every single one, with none to spare-lucky I wasn't planning on a bigger design! I am in love with these shorts, if I do say so myself, and I'm looking forward to the summer months when I can wear them with only one layer on top, and possibly a bare leg if I am brave enough!

The boots I am wearing are the very same that I blogged about way back in October, from River Island. They never did go in the sale for me. They're actually about a half size too small for me, but it was the only size left, so I am determined they will stretch out...please say they will? I NEED THEM TOO! Unless by some perfect miracle someone out there has a size 7 and would prefer a 6...? No? Damn.

59. Cosy Cabaret

Jumper-Topshop (sale), Sequin hotpants-Miss Selfridge, Wedges-Office (sale)

This is how I like to dress to slob around the house whilst pretending I have the ability to do anything with a musical instrument other than stare at it in a confused fearful way. And yes, that is my face with my glasses on, isn't it divine? I wish I wasn't so grossed out by the idea of contact lenses/paying for contact lenses.

58. These Grey Days-first beach visit of 2012

Today Thomas and I had the perfect Sunday, which may or may not have included cheese for breakfast. We took ourselves and a thermos flask of hot chocolate to Witterings and had an appetite building walk along the beach. I was wearing more layers than in those photos (a lot more layers) I was merely being vain and wanting to show off my new Topshop tunic. I saw this in their Spring Summer campaign ads and immediately hunted it out. I'm hoping its going to come out in a whole range of colours so that I can get every single one.
I have included that oh so attractive mugshot close up too, as despite the er...excitable look on my face, I am rather impressed with the new Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation I used for the first time today, and I think could be my favourite new product of the year so far. My skin is usually a bit sallow, and a bit uneven, but I think this foundation is actually doing what it says on the tin!
After this beach visit, we went into town and dined/made ourselves fat on a massive Sunday carvery dinner-I had beef AND turkey, and Tom had second helpings of just about everything. Now about to finish off the day with a pile of chocolate bars and the third season of Buffy on DVD.

Perhaps I should turn this blog into a food blog. Eating occupies my brain about 70% of the time.
