101. Skaggy Sunday
Technically this is not an outfit of the day, though I did actually wear this tee today...until I got bacon/baked bean grease all down it. Classy gal. But I just found this photo on my computer-previously discarded as being too "skaggy" looking. But today I thought "Awww, what the crap, I feel the urge to post, this here will do."
Maybe I've got sunstroke?
Happy Sunday everyone!

100. Spare Time
Shirt-asos, Skirt-ebay, Shoes-Topshop.
ONE HUNDRED POSTS! My goodness. This needs celebrating by wearing a shirt with a wicked cool print of bowling on the back of it. I hate bowling but I like how it looks on a shirt. Plus it was a bargain in the asos sale-if you click on the asos link above, it takes you to it. Same applies to the ebay skirt which believe it or not I tried to iron. I failed miserably. I want it in all the other colours too, and for £9.90 with free P+P, it would be a shame not to.
How do you like my Topknot also? I usually only wear my hair up about once every 2 years, but recently my laziness at needing to wash my hair if I want it to look vaguely presentable worn down has overcome my usual disgust at how my face/side profile looks with no hair to hide it. Go self-confidence, go! My face is also helped by a recent splurge at the Benefit cosmetics counter. I now own Erase-Paste, Porefessional, and Hello Flawless foundation. I feel like a real grown-up.
Another odd occurence in my life, is that last week I defied all expectations and went to a Zumba class. AND I LIKED IT. WHAT THE EFF? Generally the idea of exercise, particularly in a group, to cheesy music, makes me want to either vomit or be violent. But I shook my butt like a pro. Thank God there were no mirrors.

99. Style Crush- Krysten Ritter

Krysten Ritter came stalking on her envy invoking legs into my consiousness via "Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23" although I had unknowingly seen her as a young Carol Rhodes in Gossip Girl too. A fact which cements her as faaaaabulous in my mind. Appazza she is also in Breaking Bad, but I have only seen series one. Which she is not in.
ENOUGH TELEVISION TALK.
COMMENCE STYLE CRUSHING.
To be perfectly honest, she could wear baggy crotch leggings with fake Uggs and a spandex boob tube, and as long as she still had that glorious fringe and confusingly stylish ponytail (its a PONYTAIL, how can it look so sophis?) I would worship her.
Of course, she would never wear those things. Except maybe in the privacy of her own home-I would not know, as I have not actually stalked her as much as it seems I would like to.
What she would wear is an assortment of sometimes cute, sometimes sexy dresses, always managing to look a little "quirky" if I may be so unoriginal. This je ne sais quoi, is I suspect down to the combination of jet black hair (and fringe!) and pale skin that always looks so beautiful on celebs, and so Marilyn Manson on me.
Here, for you viewing pleasure, are some Ritter-worthy cloths. No baggy-crotch leggings allowed.

Lace dress, available in various colours here on asos.

Collar Skater dress here on missguided. I REALLY WANT IT IN WHITE.

AMAZE dress (but only for the midriff confident) here on Topshop.

Also from Toppers, a studded (p)leather to toughen up your pretty pretty dresses.

97. Butterflies and Missing Doll Eyes
All taken at Earnley Butterflies, Birds and Beasts. Upon myself I wear a River Island Blazer, Beyond Retro Rob Zombie tee, Topshop Dress and ebay Creepers.
Sunday was mine and Thomas' third anniversary. We celebrated with a cooked breakfast and a trip to the local butterfly gardens. I was beyond ecstatic when a HUGE butterfly "landed" on me (ok, I put my finger under it til it reluctantly climbed on) and barely stopped myself from joining in with the toddlers running around shrieking "I WAAAANNA CAAATCH ONE". Its not a sartorial coincidence that my blazer resembles a colourful plant either. It shames me to admit I wore it on purpose, hoping it would tempt the butterflies to flock to me. It kind of worked I guess.
The most pleasant surprise of the day was the randomly placed memoribilia museum that was also on the grounds, holding various items from the twentieth century that people would presumably love to look fondly back on. Like mint condition dolls. With no eyes. Or clothes. Not creepy at all....
The thing I can avoid no longer though, HOW EFFING COOL IS MY T-SHIRT? Found it on Beyond Retro whilst searching for birthday presents for the boy. I heart Rob Zombie and I heart this tee.
We finished the day with pizza AND chinese. Ever so grand.
Anyone else get as excited about butterflies as me?

96. In With The Old...
I believe this spotty dotty floaty skirt from H&M holds the great honour of being the item to cling onto my wardrobe the longest. I distinctly remember buying it with birthday money aged 15, and feeling oh so chic when wearing it with a coral cami top (to match the big spots) and some horrific beige wedges on my first unsupervised shopping trip to Brighton with friends. There was a time aged 18/19-when I discovered binge drinking-that my body became too massive for it, but I just couldn't throw it out. Nearly 9 years on I am wearing it again-thankfully the beige wedges are long gone, ditto the teensy top. I can only wonder if in another 9 years, in my thirties if I will still be wearing it. And will look back on a grey loose knit and metallic plimsolls with utter bemusement/disgust.
What item have you had in your wardrobe the longest? Do you still wear it, or does it remain for purely sentimental value?
