30. Hurricane Drunk

Yes, that's correct dear reader, today you are treated to TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY! Oh my. So Friday night I went out, and yes, there were several alcoholic beverages involved. I then had work the next day, and used fat coke, multivitamins and microwave lasagne to stave off the hangover. This meant that I used today as an indulgent hangover day instead, and wore the above (my WAG outfit) to go buy pizza. Pizza has indeed been consumed, and now waiting on a roast as well. Oh yes, double dinners are back. And don't it feel good?

Here are a few photos from my Halloween themed night out at a local metal gig if you are at all interested.

29. Sunday Style Crush- Sheri Moon Zombie

A special Halloween flavoured style crush, the one and only piece of sex that is Sheri Moon Zombie. Who knew ripped denim and bloodied bikinis could be so hot?

Sheri Moon Zombie inspired.

28. Out with old...

In with the new...camera to be exact. Just last night I thought to myself "After Christmas I am going to treat myself to a nice shiny new camera as mine is 2 years old and only 10mp, which whilst it was good at the time, is now practically prehistoric."
However, somehow this prehistoric camera heard my thoughts and promptly said to itself "Well if she doesn't want me, she shall not have me" and somehow broke, despite just being sat on the side, doing nothing remotely dangerous.
So after a browse online, I noticed a beauty half price on Argos. A Nikon Coolpix L120. Thats it in the photo, ain't it purdy?
So rather than paying off a nice sum on my credit card, I only paid a mediocre sum and used the leftover cash towards the camera. And put the rest on my credit card. Sshhh, don't ponder too much into the logic of that, and don't tell my mum.

Anyway, I've been having a play around with it this afternoon and took a few snaps that I find my face ok-ish (big "ish") enough to upload, just because they are the handiwork of the Nikon.

Jumper and Skirt, H&M Necklace (old) Topshop.

I promise not to include to many 16shot photos of me blinking (I cant believe it captured a blink!) and I also promise to clean my mirror. (That's a lie.)

Oh, here is one last photo. There is a setting on the camera for food photos, so here is my boyfriend Thomas pretending to be a carrot.

I think you'll agree that he is most convincing.

27. (belated) Sunday Style Crush- Daisy Lowe

Daisy, Daisy, Give me your answer do, I'm half crazy, all for the love of your flippin' wardrobe and style! Super leggy, super sexy, this girl has that vixen look down to a tee, with all that beautiful bed head hair and red lipstick. Yet I also want to be her best friend? She's not intimidating, despite her goddess status. She looks fun!

Thought I'd try something a bit different to my usual posting of pictures of well dressed ladies, followed by mindless crush babble, where I can't get my words out well enough to describe my admiration.

So heres a few current high street items that yours truly has picked out as being suitable for Ms Lowe inspired attire.

1.Black Crop Blazer, Topshop, £58 2. Red Cutout Maxi Dress, River Island, £45, 3. Gaggle Bow Courts, Topshop, £65 4. Spot Ruched Dress, Holly Willoughby for Very, £59 5. Stripe Ponte Dress, New Look, £21.99 6. High Waist Shorts, H&M, £19.99 7. Red Boxy Jacket, New Look, £29.99 8. Wet Look Maxi, Miss Selfridge, £50 9. Spotted Collar Dress, Yumi, £40 10.Perfume Box Velvet Clutch, Accessorize, £35 11. Print Skater Dress, Boohoo, £20 12. Red Ruffle Dress, New Look, £20 (was £39.99)

How gorgeous is the red thigh split dress Daisy is wearing? Its by Elie Saab and I'm guessing its out of my price range! Please Santa?! Its made from jersey, so I bet its as comfortable as it is showstopping! Failing that, I'll take the River Island black one shoulder maxi!

What do you think of my Lowe inspired items?

26. Cold As Ice!

Jumper: Topshop
Cardigan: Lee (menswear)
Shorts: Cut-off mens Levis
Boots: Bullet (similar here)

Knitwear over knitwear and its not even November/December yet. Anyone else's hands constantly feel like ice blocks?! Perhaps I should give up wearing the shorts?! Hmm, I'm not sure if I can bring myself to do that yet. It's only a matter of time before I start wearing tights under jeans, with long socks and boots on top, I must hang on to these reminders of warmer times for as long as possible!

Oh my gosh, I am so excited that Gossip Girl is back. I missed it last night so am about to settle down with a cuppa and catch up online. You can expect Sunday Style Crushes featuring the whole cast from me for a while, as well as occassional pantings about how divine Ed Westwick is.

XOXO...

25. In The Pink

Top and Skirt- both H&M
Watch- Marc by Marc Jacobs

Threw this snuggly jumper on today as I felt the need for some comfort on my skin after my boyfriend took me out on a run. A RUN!! I instantly felt it was too snuggly, so finally I got the chance to wear this leather (well, leather look) skirt that I blogged about here about a month ago. The perfect tough, sexy companion to my girly bit of fluff. I don't wear much pink, but will definitely be wearing this jumper again on the 28th for the breast cancer awareness wear it pink day.

Conversation when running
Me: "I genuinely think I'm going to die right now"
Tom: "Do you want to stop for a bit?"
Me: "NO!"....*30 seconds later*..."yes."

Girl did good though, it was at least 2 miles we did, I'm determined to be superfit and toned to perfection by Christmas. Then I won't feel too bad when I'm sat, surrounded by turkey and roast potatoes, gravy dribbling down my chin, eyeing up my eighth bacon-wrapped-sausage in a row.

24. Goin' Out West

Denim Gilet- Wrangler
Skinny Cords- Wrangler
Vest- Primark
Cardigan-EC Star (very old)
Shoes- Irregular Choice

More layering today, and I love love LOVE this denim jacket/waistcoat/gilet whatever you want to call it. Its sheepskin lined and keeps me surprisingly warm considering it has no sleeves! Oh and er...brown hair! Kept it lighter towards the ends to try and keep it looking a bit interesting, and I quite like that where different parts of my hair had been bleached different amounts, there are various darker and lighter tones running all the way through it. But now I need to swear off going near my hair with anything other than deep conditioning treatments. In fact....I'm going to try and leave it alone for the rest of this year. GULP. What do you reckon?

23. Misery Business

 Dress: H&M
Hoody: Levis
Gilet: Mango
Boots: Topshop
Necklace:Accessorize
Belt: New Look

This was another Sunday outfit, another airing of the faux fur. At work this time. I was kept awesomely warm the whole day. Seriously considering just going back to brown hair, despite only having it lighter for about two weeks. It looks alright in the lighting in these photos, but generally all I see when I look in the mirror is red red red on the bottom half of my locks and I hate it so! This was not helped by a customer the other day describing my hair as "yellowy...orangey...gingery" nor a colleague telling me they'd seen a photo thumbnail on facebook and thought it was a wig. Hmph. This is of course with me assuming my hair can stand another chemical attack without abandoning my head. In which case I will have to wear my Lady Gaga fancy dress wig everywhere.

21. Drunks, Lovers, Sinners and Saints

Best friends birthday=messy night. I was roadtesting some newly-blondened locks (DIY of course) and was actually the well behaved one of the group. Unlike my boyfriend as you can see. However, despite my good-girlness, now that I am old, I can't even look at an alcoholic beverage without getting a headache the next day, so Sunday was spent watching old Patrick Swayze movies and dining on junk food. In bed. I did however venture out to get afore-mentioned junk food, and dressed for a winter hangover Sunday. I even wore emu boots.

How'd you like my new Wrangler skinny cords?! I also have them in navy, and some brown shorts as well.
I thought this outfit was verging on a TOWIE kinda look (<3) but seriously, faux fur makes a hungover gal feel sooo much better about herself.

20. Sunday Style Crush-Rosie Huntington Whitely

So do I really need to explain this one? The girl is a goddess plain and simple. She could wander around in some kind of tracksuit and bin bag combo and still dazzle. Fortunately she does not. She in fact manages to wear some rather spiffing clothes. Her look always appears quite glamourous to me, even if its just a jeans and tee combo, maybe its the A-list hair and unfairly long legs, but she always appears immaculate, and lets face it, SEXY. I'd quite like to get my hands on her fur coat collection also.
